What is a Pastor? "Those called by God sense a growing compulsion to preach and teach the Word, and to minister to the people of God."     Scripturally Speaking....  “The Lord commanded that those who preach the good news should be supported by those who benefit from it "Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine". "And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love" "Remember your leaders who first taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and trust the Lord as they do." "Obey your spiritual leaders and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they know they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this joyfully and not with sorrow.
